 Plans and Permits

information

The City requires permits to ensure safety and functionality. Many of our permit requirements are outlined in ordinances such as the City of Danville Zoning Ordinance covering land use zoning, signs and signage, and more. We also offer a full list of items requiring permits and a checklist on how to establish your business with the City that includes information on permits. Additionally, we offer a guide to the permitting process for new construction.

Please note, the permittee is required to set up all work for inspections unless otherwise arranged at time of application. Failure to schedule an inspection may result in a $100 charge per offense.
