Mission StatementTo provide responsive, high quality, and efficient municipal services in order to preserve and enhance the community's quality of life.
Danville’s Department of Public Development is responsible for administering programs and services that enhance Danville as a place to live and work. The Department works in a wide range of areas including community planning, housing rehabilitation, economic development, code enforcement, and historic preservation. The Department consists of fifteen employees. The Director of the Department is supervised by the Mayor, and all other Department personnel are supervised by the Director. Offices for the Department are located at 17 W. Main Street in the Municipal Building. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday. The office is closed for most national holidays. |
